In this six-week intensive EI coaching and training program, you’ll learn what it looks and feels like to embody emotional intelligence. The program is designed for you to examine existing habits and build new, more emotionally intelligent ones through a learning approach that combines one-on-one coaching sessions, masterclass sessions, online study, practice, and reflection.
This powerful combination will help you:
The course content draws from how perception and emotion work at a brain-body level. Understanding the practical implications of our design allows you to identify where you have influence in an otherwise largely unconscious process. Becoming aware of what is normally hidden allows us to lead a more intentional life, enriching and deepening our relationship to ourselves, those we love, and the planet we live on.
The Masterclass is a pre-requisite for anyone hoping to apply for and be accepted into our Emotional Intelligence Coaching Certification (EICC) program.
We each want to lead meaningful lives. We want to make a difference in our own lives and those of our loved ones and fellow human beings. What better way to do that than to develop what you have influence over in yourself?
Receive an EI Masterclass: Embodied Emotional Intelligence badge to add to your credentials and share on LinkedIn or other social media platforms upon completion of the program.

The program design factors in what it takes to embody the concepts and evidence-based practices of Emotional Intelligence. You practice what you learn while you’re learning about it, combining your intellectual understanding with the tools and practices to apply it.
Each day you’ll access new content through the online platform where you will:
You’ll either watch a brief video or read a brief article about Emotional Intelligence
You’ll receive an immediate assignment to apply what you’ve just learned to get a feel for what it means to embody the skills you’re learning.
You’ll have a chance to develop both a working knowledge and experiential understanding of EI through daily introspection and journaling.
This unique combination of study, reflection, and application helps you see where your habits of mind may be keeping you stuck.
Using our EI practices and the 12 Self-Discoveries, our coaches are trained to help you catalyze transformational growth by helping you spot where you may be getting stuck and how to shift the habits of mind getting in the way.
Over the course of 6 weeks, your coach will help you:
In addition to your weekly coaching sessions, your EI coach will read each journal entry that you submit. This provides the coach with a rich data set from which to glean deeper insights and proactively come to each session with observations and questions from the journals. This aspect of the program brings new dimensions and depth to the coaching engagement.
Embodied EI speaks to our ability to live or embody the practices of Emotional Intelligence. Not just study them. Not just practice them. But really live them, passionately and in earnest!
As part of our third BEI Masterclass on Embodied EI, you’ll learn what it looks and feels like to live in an emotionally intelligent way.
You’ll learn the best of what we understand about how perception and emotion work at a brain level and where you have influence in that process.
What could be more important than knowing and being able to act on what we do and do not have influence over in our own lives?
As Founder and CEO of Beyond EI’s Coaching and Training programs, Michele’s vision is to democratize Emotional Intelligence as a means of igniting personal and global agency.
This driving force is at the core of how the programs she has designed translate EI from theory to a powerful and practical vehicle for meaningful transformation and lasting habit change. It isn’t enough to leave our insights of Emotional Intelligence at the level of theory. We must operationalize EI in a manner that we come to know first-hand what it means to embody the wisdom of EI in our own lives.
Michele brings 25+ years of executive leadership experience working for industry leaders in healthcare, investment management, management consulting, and manufacturing. A founding member of Rangjung Yeshe Institute based in Kathmandu, Nepal, Michele has been studying Tibetan Buddhist philosophy and practicing the wisdom at the core of its contemplative meditation practices for 29 years.
Michele received her B.A. in Religion from Bryn Mawr College and Master of Science degree in Positive Organizational Development and Change from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.
